As history, has overwhelming proved, the opposing party of the President, in the mid-term election, gain seats in the House and the Senate. The GOP are making claims that they are taking back the majority of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate. Even the White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs had said: that the Republicans could win a majority, in the November elections, which has made House Speaker Nancy Pelosi furious. But are the Democratic politicians giving the pro-NRA party annunciation to fire back with and making their "No' stance a good political platform. By, not standing up Strong on their issues, stomping on false statements being made and continually making the public aware that the failed policies of the past by their opponents are still bad ideas today.

The number 1 concern of Americans is jobs and the high employment rate, Number 2 is deficit spending/the National Debt. The Obama administration is not grasping the connection of challenging the Arizona Law, or of not pledging to maximize resources to gain more control the southern border. And with many members of their Liberal party supporting comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill and how these positions effect employment/unemployment situation and frustrate job seeking citizens.

Chief White House adviser, David Axlerod, admitted on the talk shows last weekend airing July 10/11th, That for every one job opening available, there are 5 members of the unemployed hoping to fill that position. With all these policies pursued by Mr. Obama and having a majority of the support from his party members, stated in the previous paragraph, especially with the Immigration Reform bill that would increase the Labor pool by Millions. This is surely sending negative signals to income seeking Americans, by the Democrats, of their actions that would worsen the employment environment. A immigration reform law would definitely increase the numbers of job seekers competing for a scarce supply of work, precently available right now, in this economic recession. This disconnect would definitely energize many of the employment lacking Republicans to get out to the polls for their candidates and is most likely angering a number of working class Democrats and Independents which could push their votes over to the GOP side. In doing this, trying to send a clear message back up to the Capital Hill leaders that they don't understand the average Joe and Jane's concerns and they are responding contrary to their interest. They also seem to be ignoring, that a majority of Democrats in America are still supporting the Arizona Law... With the White House Justice departments pending attempt to try to derail this legislation even before it becomes law on July 29th, could add some resentment with it's own party voters..

The Party of the Progressives are saying that the Party No, has a membership with no ideas. Coming back with a defense of their position and stating firmly, that they do have many ideas. Like this one...'We have to Repeal and Replace the Health Care Reform law and stop the government from taking control of our Health Care system, (Which is an out right Lie). This is under the single payer system that is not in the present Health Care Law. And, they go on to preach: So Medical insurance companies could be on the free market which will bring premiums rates down. Well..let the GOP be informed that, it is still on the free market system and the rates are still going up. The new Health care Reform law, expanded coverage to more people but has no real controls of what the insurance companies could charge, which is a one the Democrats shortfalls of the passing this legislation.

Another grand idea of the conservative party which many of it's members have been recently crying out: What we need is: "Tax Cuts, Tax Cuts, it creates more Jobs, It will! It will!"... and make claims that the new jobs it creates (which it doesn't do) would increase the tax revenues to the federal government to be used to reduce deficit spending. George W Bush did exactly that, It Failed! It Failed! and it also increased the National Debt by over $5 Trillion, which is a record. President Bill Clinton raised income and other taxes in 1993, in his first term, when the Democrats controlled both the House and the Senate. Still, over 22 million new jobs were created, which is another record, through the years that Mr. Clinton was in office. And with the extra tax revenues received, when a surplus was realized, Bill paid down the National Debt about $500 billion.

Sharon Angle, a Republican candidate for a Senator seat in the state of Nevada who flips flops on issues like a fish fresh out of water. Wants to bring lawsuits on anybody who exposes information that was on her old Web site, she deleted, hoping to cover up the change in her political views. Stated that she wanted to privatize Social Security. Or did she? She said that, but didn't mean this and claims that people are misunderstanding what she really meant. Makes mis-statements about federal government policies like she was being briefed daily by Sarah Palin. But does have a true positive, firm, unchangeable position of making lemonade out of lemons.

Michele Bachmann another Republican, running for reelection for her seat in House of Representatives. The Minnesota congresswomen on her site makes false statements about the Health care law and others which are too numerous to list. She has this old extremist right wing whacked out view, resembling the actions of a congressman named Joe McCarthy in the 1950's making everybody in the country fearful of the existing communist (or socialist and Nazi's) he said: were residing in American at that time. He falsely accused several people, which ended up ruining the lives of many innocent individuals because of his errant accusations. Reflected in her interview with Chris Matthews on the HardBall show, after being asked a question, which got Michele to keep repeating: 'When are they going to take poll on how many people are Pro-American ?... Suggesting that the poll would show that there is a large number of anti-American, pro-Communist, etc., that are in USA at the present time, just like Joe McCarthy was claiming in the past.

Both of these candidates, Angle and Bachmann should not even be considered competent or qualified to hold seats in the US Congress. But they have a good chance of winning their elections. Not to say, there are not competent Republican federal legislators, because there are many. Yet... Why is it going to be difficult for the Democrats hold the Senate seat of Harry Reid in Nevada and obtain the House seat in Minnesota ?

Ed Shultz on his talk show the Ed Show last week, jumped all over a comment Harry Reid (D) Nevada, the Majority leader in the Senate, had made criticizing Barrack Obama of not being forceful enough expressing his message. Shultz also said Mr, Reid was throwing President under the bus with his comment. But also said why doesn't Harry be more forceful in the Senate and fix the Health Care Law. Perfect point, the Reform law does not really control medical premium cost. Ed Shultz is for a single payer system which is a government control of Health Care and the Republicans would definitely jumped over that being implemented. The Public Option is a government health care system but separate, not subsidized by taxing payers money except for initial start up costs. Would compete with Private Medical insurance companies on the free market and people would be totally free to chose between the public or private programs. Most experts are saying because of the competition it creates, it would lower medical insurance premium rates which the existing Health Care Reform Law doesn't do right now.

The Democratic leaders have to realize that the Immigration Reform bill and border security directly effect Employment/Unemployment situation in this county. They need to do something to lower medical insurance cost which also directly effects citizens and where it hurts them the most in their pocketbooks. Even though they have honorably intentions of reaching out to the poor and minorities, which the country can't really afford to do much for at this point in time, being in a economic recession. They don't seem to understand that they keep doing No Good for their true base, Middle Class taxpaying Americans. And giving legitimacy to the Party of NO. No real solutions... Which many of Democratic base members believe is exactly what the Obama Administration policies are pertaining to their concerns.

Lots of interesting points to consider. Thanks. IMHO, the anti-administration posts I've seen on the 'vine seem to be on attack mode. It would be good to see what the rabid GOP supporters have to brag about over the last eighteen months. Really...I've not seen the GOP do anything positive over the past eighteen months. Maybe someone could set down here five or six really good, strong actions that the GOP has taken to help improve the people of the United States !!

RETLAW ... You just brough up a great point I didn't even think about. The Republicans are spending all of their energy blocking all legislation the Democrats put on the table. The American voters need hold them accountable. The people should demand that the GOP come up New ideas and New solutions to the countries pending problems or tell them to keep quiet. An old saying should be applied to them right now, 'Put up or Shut up'...

If people in this country move to elect the Neocons back into the majority, they are nuts. The only good that came out of the 8 year run was the example we live in today. Minus of course what the Democrats haveundone. I do not know why a minority of people (The Rich) would be allowed free reign again. The Republicans talk the talk but never walk the walk. There is a competion within their ranks. The goal of a rich person is to outdo other rich people. When Bush /Cheney were there for them, the competion amoungst those rich people became a fight between the Gladiators. The Pubs use Propaganda and bought and paid for groups so well, People believe it. Only to find out that it would be more of the same with a chance of pitting Americans against Americans in combat. The patronizing Neocons fear what minorities could do. By the way caucasions if not aleady will be a minority and we will be punished for their sins of crossing the "bigot line".

If the American people vote the Republicans back into the Congress and Senate, then they deserve to be in hurting status. They are letting the same people back into control that put us in the fix we are currently in today. The Republican have blocked initiatives and sat ontheir laurels while this country is fighting for its survival which was caused by their stupidity. They use fear and hatred to keep people riled up and blind to what is happening, further pampering our recovery. No the Democrats are not perfect by any means but at least they are trying to help the American people as a whole not so much the special interest groups that the Republicans are aiming to please. The Republicans have let the country go to seed while the Democrats are at least trying to pull it out of the mud it found itself in after eight years of decline under the Republicans. This administration is at least trying to make us exporters of products instead of exporting just our jobs. They have tried to increase tariffs on all incoming products be they made by American companies overseas or foreign companies sending goods in. I feel that if goods are made either partially or completely overseas then tariffs should be paid on it. If a company moves overseas to save money then they should be considered a foreign company. The Democrats are working for the good of American people while the Republicans are working for companies. If the people are stupid enough to vote the Republicans back into office after what they did in the past, then they deserve to suffer the consequences.
