Yesterday, March 16, the tea party members gathered in Washington DC to protest to Congress and try to convince them not to vote for Health Care reform bill. They claimed to have had up to Three thousands participants but later the outsiders said there was only about 300. There were reporters interviewing people in the crowd off camera and they said, they were very disappointed by the turnout. Especially, those that had to travel a long distance to get there.
Later, the Democratic members of the House and Senate welcomed them into their offices. But, one Democratic member of Congress reported, that when the Tea Partyers were in her office, they were asking her about what was in the Health Care reform bill. She stated that they did Not ask her to vote against it. This made me very suspicious.....
Do the Tea Party followers actual have Health care insuance? They protest saying " Don't mess with my Health care and leave my Health care insurance alone." But how many of them actually have Health care insurance.
Could this be the reason so few showed up at the DC protest? I wish there would be a member of a News Agencies up there, might ask them this Question at one of their meetings Do You Have Medical Health Insurance? If they say NO. You could ask them, then WHY are you protesting? If they say, YES and are on Medicade or Medicare it dosen't count, because that's the Bad, Bad Government programs that they are rallying against.
